Scam Prevention Guide

A reddit report about a impersonation scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Sorry to repost. I saw that the auto moderator comment said not to post phone numbers that’s my fault. I’ve been getting these calls and I literally hate notifications like missed call notifications because they literally don’t go away. I every time I try to call back. It’s a number that’s been disconnected. I knew it had to be a scam but sometimes when I tell them to put me on their do not call list, it works. So I turned off my call screening thing, and today they finally called me again and I picked up. And all it said was “Hi. Are you there?” First of all, freaky as shit. Second of all, obviously hung up immediately, I know the “yes” scam calls thing. However. How the FUUUCK do I make them STOPPPP. I don’t put my phone number ANYWHERE. I don’t know how or why this happened and I’m tired of the calls it’s multiple times every day 😭
