Credit Cards- Phishing Scam - Fake Fraud Alert -American Express Impostor. Called inquiring about an online gun purchase with “my” American Express card, which I don’t have. Proceeded to ask questions related to personal ID once I said I didn’t have an Amex claiming that they must have had a data breach and my identity was stolen. I confirmed my phone number and then stopped and hung up. They did give me the Amex customer line which seemed legit, but I contacted Life. Lock instead.
