Romance Scam Story

A reddit report about a romance scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

I was emailed him a bunch of info from google and that's all I can do I guess. Thank you! Hi! An older male client of mine, recently divorced, was casually mentioning a woman he has been talking to. He said she is an ex-pro golfer who was a millionaire and squandered all her money. Her father is set to leave her a big inheritance but he insists she be married first because he doesn't trust her not to blow the inheritance. This man said she "is moving here" but I wasn't really paying attention to where from. He said her name is Renee, I believe and that she recently changed her last name to avoid being harassed by. I didn't ask any probing questions but this sounds BIG SCAM to me.
