A person on what's app messaged me with a long message saying how beautiful I was and how it was accident that he found me but decided to take the chance and talk to me anyway. He said he's been deployed to Syria. He does send me pics and videos and we've even called over the phone a couple of times. He says he's in his late 30s and his wife died from a disease a couple years earlier. He's already told me he's in love with me and it's been less than a week. He's been nothing but respectful and supportive and encouraging with my parenting and how much I love my kids. We talk about parenting and our kids. I've asked him the same question and he says things like "you asked me yesterday and I said this that and the other thing and you said this that and the other thing". He doesn't ask me for nudes. He's very respectful in that way but he does entertain some of them in a nice way like he says "I'm happy you think of me in that way. It makes my whole day better". He's doesn't text me all the time. The time difference between me and Syria is like 7, 8 hours and he's been keeping to the times over there, saying it's night time when it is and in the pic he'd send it would look dark outside. Then I thought I had him red handed when he asked me to send him a card for his birthday. He meant an Apple Card. He wouldn't give me his address to the base he's at. Idk if he can or not. I wanted to send him a small gift and he said not to and that he can't receive it anyway. I told him in not gonna send the Apple Card but this was the best scam ever. He said that he was hurt that I keep insisting he's AI or that this is a scam. He agreed with me and that it was inappropriate to ask for money after only a short time of knowing each other. And he didn't change after that. He didn't get mad. He was still ever so loving. I'm so confused. How can I tell if this is a scam or not? He said once he's done with his deployment in 4 months, he's going to come to my state with his son and see me. Were states away from each others house.
