hey there, I know this isn't an uncommon thing but any advice on what i can do would be amazing. 2020 my mother passed away. my father isn't the kind of man to go talk about his emotions to a professional. he doesn't believe they work. but starting about a year ago he tried dating apps. constantly gets the obvious scammers. thinks they are legit, they ask for money or one tried to blackmail him. you'd think he'd learn his lesson after it happens enough. but he keeps going back every handful of months. and both my sister and I have tried to help. offering advice, alternatives, anything so he will stop endangering himself. but he keeps wanting to make plans to visit them out of state and such. I dont know what to do. he won't listen to anything we say, he will continue to do it even if he isn't giving them money eqch time he atill keeps falling for it. ans nothing anyone says matters. help? please? normally you stop putting hand in beesnest after a time or two.
